In 2012, he released his new single “Mahi Mahi” and debut album “Twelve,” which received two PTC Punjabi Music Award nominations for Best Non-Resident Punjabi Album and Best Non-Resident Punjabi Vocalist. The album’s lead single, “Khair Mangdi,” was nominated for Song of the Year at the 13th Lux Style Awards. For the first time, he recorded tracks for a film in 2013, namely “Tauba Tauba” and “Rattan Chitian” from the Punjabi film Daddy Cool Munde Fool (2013). In 2014, he released the single “Lethal Combination” with Roach Killa on Beyond Records. The single reached the top of the BBC Asian Charts. Later that month, on December 16, 2014, he composed “Maan,” a tribute song to the Peshawar attack (Black Day Pakistan, 16 December 2014), to condemn the attackers of the APS School in Peshawar. In 2015, he also published the song “Kaash (A Wish),” which led to the iTunes Chart.
He made his Bollywood debut in 2015 with the soundtrack of the film Ishqedarriyaan, which he co-wrote with Jeet Ganguly and Jaidev Kumar.
